Flag Labels

The Swedish Qlympic Comniittee procured a large number of gummed labels for the luggage of the competitors and officials, in order to mark the luggage of the foreign athletes coming to the Games, so as to avoid confusion and to facilitate the procural of the luggage from the luggage office, and the examination at the customs office. These labels were made in the shape, and with the colours, of the flags of Sweden and the other nations; on these latter labels, space was reserved for the name and address of the owner.

The labels were printed in 27 different editions and in the following numbers:
